Beauteque July BB Bag "Picnic of Pretty": Unboxing/Review!!

Hi crayons!!
Hope your day/night is going well :) This months Beauteque bag came a little late..well better late than never right? Hope you enjoy my review, leave a comment or like if you're another blog! (I'll be sure to check out yours!)
Sidenote: As I'm typing this I'm watching Finding Nemo ^.^ I love this movie so much. I can't wait for Finding Dory!

(* this bag was not sent to me. payed with my own money )

"July is here and it's the perfect weather for a picnic, a Picnic of Pretty, that is! Everything you need to look and feel your prettiest for a perfect day at the park is packed into this bag. Pretty and practical, the contents range from lip treatments to body wash, blusher to sunblock. Wherever you're going to be this summer, we've got a goodie for it in this pouch! Keep Summer going in style with all this month's bag has to offer!" -Beauteque Team

Etude House "Milk Talk Body Wash"(Value: $12): "Moisturize skin in the shower or bath with this milk body wash. Apply with a body sponge or with your hands and rub and smooth onto skin. Then wash off with warm water".

This was another one of those 'choose a set and we'll send you one from the set you chose' options (strawberry & apple, chocolate & steamed milk).I was hoping to try the steamed milk body wash, not to say I'm not happy with chocolate but it's just very potent. What helps with smelling this is to think of it as Hershey's chocolate syrup :) then it's a little more bearable. Regardless it's adorable packaging, and Etude House is a great brand ^.^ so I'm looking forward to trying this. (apparently they also have sheet masks from this range!)

Secret Key "Witchhazel Pore Clear Toner" (Value: $19): "product controls oil and deeply cleans. Reduces pore appearance and nourishes skin. Apply to clean skin with a cotton swab and let dry."

We either received this witchhazel toner or an aloe toner (that specializes in moisturizing). :) Me being an oily skin gal, I'm glad I got this one. The toner itself is big with a lot of product! Toner is one of those things that I should be using but...never have...:3 don't judge me. Toner has so many benefits ranging from pore reduction, evening skin tone, and moisturization (especially with Korean toners). Can't wait to try this! Just look at all the ingredients supposedly in this!:

Yeon/Juju Hallabong "Special Peeling and Pack Mini 4-set" (Value:$10): "Each pack in this set is a wash-off mask with a different purpose. The Live packs replenish and energize the skin. The peeling gel exfoliates and smooths the skin. The pore ghassoul pack rids the skin of dirt and excess sebum".

When I saw these, I immediately thought of those jelly packs that are in the middle of tables at restaurants. Sooo cute :) I've never tried anything like these before...well maybe I have just not in this sort of packaging. I'm thinking they should of came with plastic butter knives so you get the whole experience ;) I kid I kid.

-----------------------------------------------

Tony Moly Crystal Blusher (Value: $8): "This makeup will compliment your skin tone and accentuate your cheeks. Apply to apples of cheeks with a blush brush."

They let us choose between 3 different shades for this blush, and this is the first time I didn't get my first pick :( My first pick was called "Milky Pink" and I believe it was #01? This one is "Pleasure Peach" #03 which was my second choice. I'm still happy I received this though! Peachy Pinks that blend well and are buildable like this guy are my go-to's. Here's a little color chart in case your're interested in these blushes:

-----------------------------------------------

Holika Holika "Golden Monkey Glamour Lip" (Value: $6.99). "This is a 3-step kit to treat chapped, dry lips, and make them appear plumper."

I LOVE 3 step Korean anything! :) Sheet masks, nose strips, lip masks? You name it, I'll try it. Some could argue that they are more tedious for the same result...but lets be real if you love KBeauty, like truly love it, it won't seem tedious one bit. I think they're fun! :) Holika Holika has quickly become my #1 favorite Korean brand simply because of affordability and packaging. I especially love the color combo of these steps!! Since I'm saving this for later, here's a look at each step for you guys:

Beauteque Blending Brush (Value: $15). "Use after you apply all your makeup to blend it together for a flawless finish. Sweep over entire face lightly. Wash regularly with a makeup brush cleanser or mild soap and water to avoid product buildup."

Since upgrading to my beloved Sigma F80 brush and Beauty Blender sponge, I've honestly never looked back to these kind of brushes for applying foundation (although this is very soft yet durable and would definitely do the trick!). But, these brushes work so well at applying clay (and other) masks :) Last month we received that strawberry clay mask, and when using a brush exactly like this to apply it, the mask was distributed evenly across my face without getting my hands dirty one bit. Glad I have another!

My overall thoughts for this months bag= it's good! I wasn't completely blown away but I still like it a lot :)
There were a couple busts about this month: Like I mentioned earlier the bag itself came pretty late, but Beauteque did give the heads up early that it was going to be late so I guess I can't be too upset over that. And the other was there were only 6 products in the bag this month. Beauteque does claim 6-8 products, but I always thought they would stick to 7-8. I'm guessing it's because the toner is so big? I'm not sure.

My 3 month plan was expiring this month and I actually cancelled it for the time being (school tuition deadlines got the best of me). I really really really don't want to miss another month especially since August's bag looks so cute! So I'm thinking of going with the month-to-month plan just for the time being. Almost makes me wish I was one of those bloggers they sent bags to for free to review xD maybe one day I'll get there.

Anyways! Thanks for reading! comment and like if you're another blogger and I'll be sure to check out your page :D

(*All pictures (except for ones with sources underneath them) are my own, this bag was not sent for review. Sentences that have quotations around them come from Beauteque's Information Card that came with the bag*)

HAVE A NICE DAY <3
